Russian University of Transport (MIIT)

The Russian University of Transport (MIIT) is a Federal Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education, founded in 1896.
The university trains specialists in the field of transport and other industries.
The university comprises 8 academies, 6 institutes, 5 colleges, a gymnasium, a military training center, and the children’s technopark "Moscow Transport."

Alexander Alekseevich Klimov is the rector of RUT (MIIT), Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences. He holds the civil service rank of Actual State Councilor of the Russian Federation, Class II, and has been awarded the Order of Friendship and several industry awards.

Cooperation with RUT (MIIT):

Since September 2025, specialists from TrafficData have been contributing to the implementation of educational programs at Higher School of Engineering (HSE), delivering the academic discipline "Fundamentals of Transport Infrastructure Design and Operation."

Project Activities:

As part of this collaboration, TrafficData:
  • Participated as an expert in the preparation and execution of the All-Russian hackathon “Battle of tITans”
  • Is a partner of the business community within RUT for the discipline “Project-Based Activity”
  • Supervises student projects lasting six months (potentially up to one year), during which students work on practical tasks relevant to the transport industry

Technical Support:

Planned expansion of laboratory equipment is on schedule for 2025. TrafficData is also working on providing additional equipment for educational and project activities.
