Perm State National Research University
Perm State University is a classical university in the city of Perm and one of Russia’s national research universities. It is the first institution of higher education in the Urals. PSNRU focuses on educational, scientific, and research activities, including training specialists in a wide range of fields, conducting scientific research, and organizing students' extracurricular life.
Igor Anatolyevich Gemanov is the rector of PSU, Russian sociologist, Vice-Rector for Personnel Development, Social Policy and Extracurricular Activities, Chairman of the university’s Trade Union Organization, a member of the Presidium of the Eurasian Association of University Trade Union Organizations, and a member of the Central Council of the Trade Union of Workers of Public Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
