On May 27, Governor of Perm Krai Dmitry Makhonin delivered his annual address, summarizing the region’s development over the past year and outlining priorities and plans for the future.
Special attention was given to the development of the transportation sector. Perm Krai is among Russia’s leading regions in the implementation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Since 2022, these systems have been deployed as part of the national project “Infrastructure for Life.” Thanks to the continued development of ITS, the average speed of public transport has increased by 34% over the past five years.
Among the companies recognized for growth in high-tech exports were enterprises from Perm Krai, including TrafficData, which continues to expand the international reach of its solutions and strengthen its presence in global markets.
We would like to thank the Government of Perm Krai, the relevant ministries, the Export Support Center of Perm Krai, and personally Dmitry Makhonin for their support of technology-driven entrepreneurship and for creating favorable conditions for the growth of innovative companies.
The support measures available in the region enable Perm Krai to remain one of the country’s leaders in the adoption of innovative solutions, while helping technology companies successfully develop and scale their products both across Russia and internationally.
