TrafficData will supply software to the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan

The transport model of the Uzbek city of Karshi is being developed with the help of TrafficData software

TrafficData has signed a contract with the Center for the study of problems of transport and logistics development under the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan. Perm IT startup will deliver a “boxed” version of TrafficData Land – software for automatic counting of automobile and pedestrian traffic from CCTV cameras.

TrafficData Land is already being used in the development of the Karshi transport model. With the help of it, the specialists of the center consider the intensity of traffic flows in the city. The model is being developed on behalf of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

“Thanks to TrafficData software, we have reduced the processing and analysis time of a two—hour video from 6 to 1.5 hours, reduced the financial costs for this,” says Murod Abidov, director of the Center for the Study of Transport and Logistics Problems of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan. — In addition, we have identified two advantages: high counting accuracy and intuitive interface.”

Uzbekistan has become the fifth country where TrafficData software is used, the price of the contract with the Uzbek Ministry of Transport is 10 thousand dollars. In July, we signed a contract with the Brazilian company Pazini, before that – with the Israeli CleverVision. Over the past six months, the software of the Perm startup has been used in universities in Russia, Belarus and Tajikistan.

TrafficData develops software for traffic analysis using convolutional neural networks and computer vision technologies.
