At the end of March, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation hosted a roundtable on “Innovative Technologies in Autonomous Systems,” organized by RTU MIREA, the Public Chamber’s Commission on Higher Education and Science, the Public Council under Russia’s Ministry of Transport, and the Digital Transport Era Association.
TrafficData provided first-year RTU MIREA students with access to the TrafficData Macro platform for real-time traffic and pedestrian flow analysis. Project Manager Elizaveta Ignatenko joined the jury evaluating nine student projects.
On March 25, an award ceremony honored the winners. A project analyzing the readiness of road infrastructure for highly automated and connected vehicles, based on TrafficData data, became a prize-winner!
Congratulations to the students on their success! We are proud that our solutions help advance smart transport technologies. We believe that highly automated and autonomous vehicle projects will soon become a priority for young researchers.
