On August 27, an important industry meeting dedicated to developing methodological approaches for assessing the effectiveness of intelligent transport systems (ITS) was held at the Digital Era of Transport Association. Organized with the support of FAI ROSDORNII, the event brought together key industry stakeholders, including representatives of the Ministry of Transport, Rosavtodor, industry experts, and leading technology companies.

TrafficData took part in the expert discussion. The main focus was the ITS Effectiveness Assessment Methodology, which provides for an integrated assessment based on a comprehensive set of indicators across seven areas: technological development, traffic management efficiency, road safety, social impact, environmental impact, transport and logistics performance, and the efficiency of infrastructure defect elimination.

The methodology, revised to incorporate expert feedback, will be presented at the Intelligent Transport Systems of Russia Forum, which will take place on September 28–29, 2026, in Moscow.
